The Resilience Screening Panel Discussion & Q&A
On 7th of February 2024, we held a powerful screening of the movie ‘Resilience’ and panel discussion around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) at The Strand Cinema, Belfast.
The movie offered us a chance to highlight ACE’s and how resilience can be built, given the right environment and support. The movie was followed up by a panel discussion with Peter McBride, Jackie Bates Gaston and Clive Corry, who spoke brilliantly on the topic, bringing their own experiences into the conversation.
The attendees spoke about what they were doing across the country, to help heal trauma. It left us inspired to encourage others to keep doing what they do best…looking out for one another, with love and compassion in their hearts.
We are looking forward to more conversations and the gathering of much more information on a global scale, around this topic and more, at other events coming up during the year.
