Gary O’Reilly is the director and a professor of the Doctoral Training Programme at UCD. He also works part time as a Clinical Psychologist at the Children’s University Hospital as well as an academic researcher. He has looked at interventions for child friendly CBT though creating a computer game called “Pesky Gnats”. This programme contributes to the transformation of mental health intervention for young people through technology. He also spoke at the 2013 TEDxUCD convention about the “Pesky gnats” video game and how this intervention is available on a not-for-profit basis.
