WHAT IS THE TRAUMA SUMMIT?

The Trauma Summit is a two-day conference taking place on 13th and 14th June 2022. For the very first time we are offering delegates the choice of either an in-person or virtual ticket. You can choose what works best for you.

With over 40 speakers including Dr Bruce Perry, Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Rachel Yehuda and Kenneth Hardy you will have full access to all presentations. Over the two days trauma experts will present their latest research and understanding of trauma and trauma recovery. Discuss modalities and how trauma affects both individuals, families and communities.

The Trauma Summit creates space for everyone to network either virtually or in-person, meet delegates from around the world, take part in live Q & A sessions and meet with both virtual and live exhibitors. With over 55 hours of content, you will be spoilt for choice, but you won’t miss a thing! With both tickets you will have six months full access to all content to watch at a time convenient for you.

All Action Trauma conferences are CPD accredited and you will gain a minimum of 18 CPD points (With the option of earning more when you watch the presentations you missed online).

PREVIOUS TRAUMA SUMMIT DELEGATES SAID:

It was quite simply the best conference I've ever attended in my 22 years as a practitioner psychologist! The speakers were all excellent, as were their presentations.
Jane
I thought the trauma conference was excellent, all speakers were fantastic in expressing their knowledge. It has really helped me to consider adaptations in my own working practices to support the children and young people I work with.
Natalie
It was stimulating, informative and exceeded my expectations. Did not want to miss a thing. All speakers were so good.
Amber
I had never attended such a conference before. I found it fascinating and really useful. I am very glad you have extended the access as I am slowly working my way through all the different talks and rewatching some several times.
Emily
I really enjoyed this conference, to hear so many of the keynote speakers, all sharing their expertise in the area of trauma was fantastic. I fully immersed myself over the two days and I really felt I was sharing a global experience with so many around the world. It was actually a very special experience that I felt honoured to participate in. Thank you.
Ursula
This has been fantastic! As a young professional moving towards Somatic Experiencing therapy, I am honored to be able to learn from so many incredible practitioners. The cost was super affordable. It has been so easy to watch the videos in my spare time.
Jenn
I have gained so much knowledge but more importantly it has ignited an energy and enthusiasm in me....often in the daily grind of therapeutic work I can lose this..... Thank you!
Rosena
Really thought provoking. Introduced me to areas of therapy I had little or knowledge of before. The knowledge base of the presenters is vast and this was shared generally in way that made it relevant for practitioners working at all levels.
Jo
Really enjoyed it, found it highly informative, engaging and invigorating.
Bonita
Thank you so much for the conference. Incredible speakers and it was wonderful to hear their thoughts and experiences.
Mags
I would like to thank you all the Action Trauma Team for the amazing conference organised. Karen thank you for personally follow up every email sent, this made me feel like a person and not just a number among many others attending a conference. Thank you Clive for your touch and professionalism in hosting the conference. Amazing!
Laura
Absolutely amazing! The best course/ conference I have attended, EVER. I have been reading so much about trauma over the last 5 years and to see key professionals in the field in one place was truly awesome. I intend to disseminate the information to my organisation and across a wider network of practitioners working in the field of autism in Wales.
Frances
Loved it! Felt very motivated and contained by the end of it. Quite emotional experience and brilliant for learning.
Julie
I was very impressed with how the conference ran so smoothly. It was very professional and I was particularly impressed to be listening to such a high-calibre of speakers. It was outstanding. I enjoyed the live trauma summit in belfast also in 2018. I liked the virtual summit just as much as i was able to go back over each of the topics after the event.
Michelle
Wonderful experience, very well planned. Excellent speakers, all of them very evidence based. Much to learn and grow. Thank you so much!
Carla
I felt so uplifted after being involved in the event, both from listening to keynote speakers and the workshops. To be involved in so much knowledge, experience and passion for aiding people experiencing trauma was wonderful, particularly so when we are surrounded by lots of bad news and fear for the future.
Judith
A stunning two days, thank you so much. Excellent organization, communication through these troubled days. Such an impressive range of speakers and workshops. many thanks to karen and your whole team...
