Elaine Miller-Karas, LCSW is an author, radio show host,  social worker, trauma therapist, co-founder, former Executive Director and current  Director of Innovation of  the Trauma Resource Institute and key developer of the Community and Trauma Resiliency Models.
She is a recognized international speaker and has presented at the Skoll World Forum at Oxford University, Resiliency 2021 and the United Nations. Elaine’s book was selected by the United Nations and Taylor and Francis’ curated on-line library as one of the innovations helping meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She is a Senior Consultant to Emory University’s SEE Learning program, inspired and launched by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2019. Her radio talk show on VoiceAmerica is entitled Resiliency Within.
