Co-director and co-founder of the Coherence Psychology Institute and co-originator of Coherence Therapy, psychotherapist Bruce Ecker, LMFT, is coauthor of the seminal volume, Unlocking the Emotional Brain: Eliminating Symptoms at Their Roots Using Memory Reconsolidation, plus numerous other influential books and journal articles. Clarifying how transformational therapeutic change occurs is the central theme of Ecker’s clinical career. He has contributed many innovations in concepts and methods of experiential psychotherapy, and since 2006 has led the worldwide clinical field’s recognition of memory reconsolidation as the mechanism of transformational change, extensively mapping out how neuroscience research findings translate into major advances in the effectiveness and unification of psychotherapy.
