Speaker Profile
Angela
Findlay
Artistic Therapist, Speaker, Writer
Trained as an Artistic Therapist specialising in colour, Angela’s simple exercises help individuals and groups of all ages and abilities to tap into their creative potential.
By focusing on process rather than result, her ways of working offer a safe space for deeply transformative and insightful experiences. Angela’s time ‘behind bars’ and later as Arts Coordinator of London-based Koestler Arts, revealed the huge impact the arts can have in terms of rehabilitation. Her work has proved effective in many areas including trauma and shame, boundaries and emotional illiteracy. In 2016 she was invited by the Ministry of Justice to present the case for the arts to be included in new rehabilitation and education policies.
