Following our recent Virtual Trauma Recovery Summit in 2021 – bringing together over 2000 professionals from over 60 countries – we asked delegates if they believed that networking with other like-minded delegates was important for their professional development. We weren’t surprised to find that over 90% of delegates said yes.
Our core belief is that trauma is not an illness. It is an injury and it can be healed. The Action Trauma Network brings together like-minded professionals working across various sectors of society, but all with one common goal. Healing trauma!
In 2018 we hosted the Trauma Summit in Belfast, and in 2020 and 2021 we hosted virtual Trauma Summits. As well as bringing together the worlds leading speakers on trauma and trauma recovery, we discovered that the Summit became a place where delegates could network with one another, share resources, discuss new research and learn together.
As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”. That is the ultimate goal behind the Action Trauma Network. Join us as we HEAL TRAUMA TOGETHER!
There are currently no active networks that provide a resource hub/space to share knowledge, expertise, and information for trauma professionals. The purpose of the ATN will be to primarily connect professionals/like-minded individuals working with clients/patients affected by trauma, to bring hope, recovery, resilience, and healing, by having direct resources and contact information to reach out to each other and learn from each other’s expertise and knowledge. There will be a small subscription fee and many benefits such as free webinars, conference discounts, resources, video content and more.
The below webinars will be available to all Action Trauma Network members at no additional cost. Non-members will pay £25 per webinar.
