Time | 3.30pm – 4.30pm (BST)

As evidence of the effect of supporting the expectant mother’s mind, body and spirit grows, the fetus shows us its responsiveness to its environment in so many ways. Let us prepare both mother and child with wisdom and care as they bond for the journey and their new life together.

Who Should Attend?

Therapists, councillors, social workers, educators, medical professions, everyone concerned with prenatal life should have what Michel Odent, MD. calls “an obsession to protect the emotional state of the pregnant woman.”

Benefits of Attending

  • Gain discovery into the hidden connections between mother and fetus to enhance the communication that supports maximum emotional well-being.
  • Understand that babies learn through their environment, the “soup” of their mothers’ amniotic fluid, and their mother’s emotions.
  • Explore imagining the world from the baby’s perspective—what he or she hopes to learn and receive from his/her parents. Explore guided imagery, literal and imaginative.
  • Improve knowledge of tools to support mother and baby through the stages of pregnancy and welcome to the world, including those of Verbal First Aid.
  • Develop ways to welcome the baby to the family, the culture, the life ahead and to welcome the mother to the charmed circle of motherhood.
