Phoenix Learning and Care, provides care and education services to children, young people and adults. So, we have residential children’s homes. We’ve got around 20-ish now and a few more opening soon.
We’ve got specialist independent schools and a specialist college. So, we’re based across from Berkshire to South Wales, Somerset, Devon into Cornwall. And as I said, shortly we’ll be in South Gloucestershire as well.
We also provide supported living services for adults with learning disabilities. So as an organisation, we are committed to obviously improving the outcomes of the people we support and to be, we are committed to our journey of becoming a trauma-informed organisation. So obviously that’s a journey that we’re on, you know, have started but not there yet.
And what’s really important to us is driving a therapeutic culture and the way that we work with the people we support, being therapeutic and thinking therapeutically about that. So as an organisation, we’ve invested really heavily in the therapeutic input.
