WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Searching for Sonostasis®: A Polyvagal-Informed Sound Experience for Regulation, Resilience, and Recovery
Searching for Sonostasis® offers a unique, immersive journey into the science of sound and self-regulation. Grounded in Polyvagal Theory, this session explores how Sonic Augmentation Technology™ supports nervous system balance for neurodivergent individuals, families, women’s health, and frontline workers. Participants will engage in a live sound experience designed to promote calm, resilience, and connection, followed by a Q&A to explore practical applications. Discover how state-shifting soundscapes can guide you toward Sonostasis®—a state of harmony where recovery, regulation, and wellbeing thrive in everyday life and care environments.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understand the Core Principles of Polyvagal Theory - Gain a clear understanding of how Polyvagal Theory explains nervous system regulation, and why it is essential for supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, women’s health, and those in high-stress environments.
- Explore the Concept of Sonostasis® - Learn how Sonostasis® defines a state of autonomic balance, resilience, and connection—and how sound-based interventions can guide individuals toward this optimal state.
- Experience the Impact of Sonic Augmentation Technologyâ„¢ - Participate in an immersive sound session to personally experience how state-shifting soundscapes can support regulation, recovery, and emotional wellbeing across diverse populations.
- Identify Practical Applications for Daily Life and Care Settings - Discover how science-backed sound tools can be integrated into routines for neurodivergent individuals, family environments, women’s health practices, and frontline care to promote calm, focus, and resilience.
- Engage in a Live Q&A to Personalize Insights - Participate in an interactive discussion to deepen understanding, ask questions about specific use cases, and explore how Polyvagal-informed sound interventions can be tailored to individual and community needs.
