TESSA stands for Therapeutic, Education and Support Services in Adoption. They are a project aimed at supporting families across Northern Ireland who have at least one child between the ages of two and twelve years old, who has been adopted. TESSA is a Family Routes project, partnered with Adoption UK (NI). Join us for this webinar as Roxanne Small, project coordinator with TESSA NI, will explore how the needs of the adoptive family are evolving, how our continued learning into trauma is having an impact on the adoption community and how we can offer a trauma-informed approach to these families in their vulnerable moments.

As an ex-nurse turned social worker, June has over 30 years of experience in family work across the life cycle such as paediatric nursing, disability, Children Looked After and Dementia care.
