Young Hearts and Minds 2021
The Action Trauma team is excited to bring you their first-ever Hybrid event: Young Hearts and Minds on the 20th and 21st October 2021. Young Hearts and Minds brings together a wealth of knowledge, experience, and research from the World’s leading experts in complex trauma and trauma recovery.
Like our previous event, the Virtual Trauma Recovery Summit in June 2021, this event will run Live from the Titanic, Belfast – one of the leading flagship sites of culture in the world.
Young Hearts and Minds appeals to those with a passion for the well-being and mental health of children and young people. Experience a rare opportunity to listen to progressive techniques and explore new methodologies on how to start the healing process and beat the long-term impact of early trauma, which can have a serious impact on children’s development, throughout their youth, and into adulthood. The teaching and learning at the conference will help you to develop resilience under pressure and inspire you to make a change.
This one-day conference takes place on the 20th and 21st October at the Titanic Belfast. Delegates can attend both in-person at the Titanic Belfast or virtually, through the Whova platform. All the features of the in-person event will be accessible from the Whova platform, so delegates won’t feel that they are missing out on the live experience.
There will be access to learning, networking (both live and virtually), and promoting the good work that is happening in Northern Ireland, the UK, and beyond.
Look deeper into adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), attachment, and trauma and enhancing your overall professional development. You will gain the knowledge and skills to make a difference in the lives of the children and young people in your community, classroom, and place of work. Be empowered to create a lasting difference for future generations.
